The New Jonny Quest is a Hanna Barbera Cartoon that is a half-hour long. Benton Quest is a scientist that works on various government projects. Race Bannon is the CIA-like agent assigned as Quest's bodyguard for the entire family. Hadji is Jonny's pal who once saved Benton Quest from an assasination attempt while lecturing in India. Jonny is Benton Quest's son who must travel with his famous father all over the world since his mother is deceased. Jonny is a precocious pre-teen who has a knack for finding trouble but always coming through in the end. The series premiered in September 1987 in syndication.
