This was a half-hour cartoon. Droids: The Adventures Of R2-D2 And C3PO was based on the world of the Star Wars movie series. It followed the exploits of C-3PO and R2D2, told from their point of view, as they went through the hands of different owners and showed the difference they made in each life. These stories took place in the years between the rise of the Empire and the beginning of the Star Wars. The show premiered September 7, 1985 and ran for one season. The series was produced by Lucasfilm, in association with Nelvana Limited.
